Scott Prentice

Illustrator scott prentice has worked since 1999 for london publishers before turning his hand to painting full time in 2003.

Rising from humble beginnings in north glasgow he went into business with his brother as bespoke furniture makers. he aslo worked for a number of years doing composition restoration work for english heritage. finally unable to ignore his passion for art, scott returned to study in glasgow, graduating in 1999. while keeping up links with his london agent, scott is busy producing works for galleries throughout Central scotland. his work combines a precision of line with a minimum of fuss in striking contemporary canvases. the diverse content of his work ranges from portraits, still life and landscapes all of which exhibit his particular style.
