Sir quentin blake, the english illustrator born in 1932 in Kent, is perhaps best known for his long standing collaboration with illustrious children’s author, Roald Dahl.
His distinctive, messy style created the world for dahl’s characters to come alive in - the stories and illustrations are almost synonymous. They led the reader’s imagination through Dahl’s stories from George’s Marvellous medicine to The BFG.
